I need to install an alarm with remote start & pager in a 2008 F250 with the factory keypad keyless entry on the drivers door. I need to make the keypad disarm the aftermarket alarm. Has this been done before? Any ideas on what brand of aftermarket alarm to use?

Thanks

Do it right the first time.

You're probably out of luck on disarming via the keypad...most aftermarket alarms don't have any kind of external disarm wires that could be used with it.
Generally, disarming an alarm without the remote involves turning the ignition on and pressing the hidden valet switch, at which time the alarm is going off. There's no provision for external disarming on a regular basis.

code alarm has the input wires that you hook up to the lock/unlock motor wires so the factory keypad will arm and disarm the alarm. the factory alarm modules (also made by code alarm/audiovox) can do it as well.
