Are these wires the size of speaker wires?  or are they a lot smaller and all inside a round grey jacket?

no they are not the same size as speaker wires. they are smaller and in a gray jacket. im aware that i probably have a stock amp in my vehicle and these may hook to that but im still counfused on how to hook them up.

factory amp is in pass side rear quarter panel, buy a ford taurus 96-99 dash kit and use the wire harness from it, unplug the factory amp, plug the taurus harness in, unplug the antenna and plug it into the kit's antenna, run all those wires up to the front where your radio is.

Did anybody figure it out?  I just bought a 96 Explorer with the exact same wiring and I cant figure it out.  Is someone saying to use a Taurus kit?  Is there a factory amp of which I am unaware?  The car came without a radio (ripped off).  PLEASE HELP!!!   NEED MUSIC!!!
