So I decided to build my box for my 2-10'kicker cvr subs. Its going in a 07 mustang gt so the trunk opening is small, and it won't fit thru the rear seat opening, so the box can't be very big. I want a sealed box. Each sub needs .8cuft min. airspace and 3cuftmax. It tells me how to build a single box with dimensions 13.5x13.5 front, 13.5x10.125 side, 12x10.125 other sides. What dimensions would I need to use for a dual box?

I dont remember the dimensions, but in my friends mustang we did 2 12w6v2's and we built 2 seperate boxes and made on long port coming out the right side...we nailed and liquid nailed the boxes together and the built a trim panel out of 1/2 inch mdf came out beautifully and sounded nice. My buddy comes back home in about a week or so and il try and grab some dimensions for you.

Does anyone have a way to calculate interior volume for a box with 5 sides? I need to make the bottom of my box have 2 angles in it to form to my weird trunk hump.

Post up your dimensions that you have (or intend to use) and I'm sure one of us can calculate that for you... but if you cannot wait, calculate the box as a combined wedge and rectangle box.

^-^; You'll have to forgive me but I can't figure out what dimension is what for that. Mind posing up a diagram?

Ok the front of the box will be 12 Inches tall, 34 In. Wide. The very top of the box will be 8 In. deep, 34 In. wide. The rear of the box-facing the rear seats will be 12 In. Tall, 34 In. Wide. The bottom of the box has two different lengths because of the weird hump in my trunk. The front part of the bottom will be 9 IN. Deep angled like 40 degrees and 34 In. wide. The flat part of the bottom will be 7 IN. deep and 34 In. wide. I hope that clears it up.

I can work out the volume for you, but those dimensions don't work. The picture lists different ones so I'm assuming it's just an example of the shape. You gave the front as 12" tall but the back as 12" tall as well, this couldn't be the case if there's that little hump. I don't need the degree of the angle, and the whole box will be the same width so I'll need that width. I'll need the height of the front, the height of the back, the depth of the top, the depth of the 2 flat bottom pieces. Basically you can ignore that angled piece & just give me depth of the upper & lower bottom pieces. PM me those or post them here & I'm sure we can get you your volume no problem:)
