identify common ground or problem

hey i know this is the typical i dont know wht the hell im doin question but ive spent 4 hrs trouble shooting an i need help hahaha but i have a 95 explorer an of course i was able to identify the factory power leads an of course the factory connectorsy have been mangled off an when i went to directechs for the wiring diagram but none of the wires matched so i used a peripheral tone generator still nuthing so i went to the kick panels found one of the leads for each speaker 2 per side so i was thinkn coomon ground but i wanted some of the pros advice if they didnt mind thanx !!!!mecp

Sounds to me like your car my have a factory amp, if so you'll need to bypass.WOW Sight and Sound

I agree with mad550. Factory amp in behind pass rear quarter panel.

thanx a bunch you were defnt right i called a friend as soon as posted an thats what he said popd  the rear panel an there it was my goal was to just jump the wires did a little research an thought i was goin to be simply color matching but the 2 harness only make up the one set 1 harness is speakers im figuring an the other were the amp lead power dimer ect i couldnt  place the out put side like every one was screaming so im still searching for how to bypass it via no cable i temporarly just ran wires from the door speakers an not really wanting to drill thanx !!mecp

MECP?!?! And you're wanting to hack your way through this job? For shame... Not only that, but MECP?!?! And you can't figure it out for yourself? I know we all occasionally need help, but as a person trained in the industry, you KNOW the proper way to do it. Before you hack the thing to death, buy a harness... Do it right. If your goal is to bypass all of the factory stuff, why not just make it easy on yourself, and run new wires to the speaker locations... No drilling required. Put the wires through the door connectors, and be done with it. There is a VERY GOOD sticky (I think it's still there) explaining just how to do this.It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

well my friend when you are true youre tru im an alarms specialist an if you would see this truck hahaha cable is by far considerd a hack job its lacking an ignition it need a serious motor work not my truck an since it needed all that i figured it be a lost cause to tell them hey ya need a cable hahamecp
