2005 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 automatic no factory security. Installing Fox/Magicar 8200. Is there still a way to get tach reading from pcm in this vehicle? That way I will not have to go through firewall. Also is it possible to extend antenna wire so I can install it on rollbar. Is that installation of antenna been tried? I can hide the wires under the padding to make clean looking install. Thanks Paul

No way that I know of to get tach from PCM

Always been told not to extend the antenna wire as this would interfere with proper signalling from brain to antenna and v.v.

The search function is your friend.

you could always just mount the ant. in the lower corner of the windshield. wont be too noticable and would be super easy to run the ant. cable... just a thought....

if at first u dont succeed........ lower ur standards
