Good Afternoon

I would like to know how to disarm the factory antitheft /alarm system on a 1998 Toyota Camry LE. I didn't see any disarm in the wiring diagram on this site.

Thanks

why do you need to disarm the factory alarm? are you hooking up a remote start or aftermarket alarm? what kind of aftermarket system are you using?

just run the ground out when running to the keysense and that should solve any issues

Thank you dusco, GregK and perly for your replies. We have a customer who lost their remote and was unable to disarm the factory system using the ignition key in either front door or when putting key in the ignition switch and attempting to start the car. The information you provided will be very helpful in getting vehicle started and diagnosing the system. Thanks again.
