i've had this system on my truck for about 2 years now...

but the past few months, when i use my remote start, it will start my vehicle, but nothing electrical works untile i put the key in and hit the break...

like on cold morning, i'll start my truck but my heat wont kick on untile i put the key in and hit the break...

anyone know why?! and how to fix this problem???

sounds to me like the rs is not powering up your acc. wire in the vehicle. the first thing i would do is check the connection made to the acc. wire in the vehicle. what vehicle is this in.

that is correct. depending on the truck, some use the accesory to turn on the heater while some cars use the ignition to turn on heat. if you can tell us the year and make of your car, then finding wire colours should be easy.
