Anyone know how to make the windows auto rollup and the sunroof close using and aftermarket system? I just finished putting the remote starter in and need to finish this one last thing.
I know interfaces exist for doing this with the oem fob, but I do not plan on carrying that one any longer.
Thanks.

Question: Does this car roll them up or down when you hold the key in the door to lock or unlock? I know the later model VWs do but I can't remember exactly when they started.

If it does then you can hook auxiliary channels from the aftermarket unit to the lock/unlock wires. Program them to output as long as the transmitter button is being pressed.

If it doesn't, you will have to get aftermarket window/sunroof control modules to do window roll-up.

If you extend the lock and unlock pulses.... the windows WILL operate.

Depending on the model of system you use you can use the aux outputs or the comfort closure feature on dei systems

It's a scyteck unit. I wanted one that was designed for an mtx car, and have had good luck with these in the past. I know I can set the channel 1 or 2 outputs to, I think it's a 10 second pulse. I wouldn't think I would have an issue if that pulse ends up being to long as I would think the car would have a safty incase you held the key turned to long creating the same type issue.
