i am tring to fit a set of hid´s on an 02 jetta , the hids are hi/lo the kind that has a solenoid to lower a shield to let more ligth pass , they are wired like this the low feed from the car has a diode and goes into a relay and then to the ballast and the hi from the car also go4es into a diode and then to the same relay so the hid stay with power no mater if the switch is in lo or hi beam , heres the trouble when i conect the soleniod to the circuit ( i putit behind the diode so the low doesnot activate it) and i test it with the lows off just pull the hi lever they work ok the hid go on and the solenoid works ok but when the car has the low on and i switch to hi it also works , but when i switch back to low the solenoid keeps energized so it stays like hi i tried to put another diode but it does keep doing the same thing they are on a jetta vr6 they wher previouly mounte in a regular jetta and they worked fine the car has the daytime switch but i cut the wire that turns the daytime lamps on do you think that i need to gat the regular switch or i dont know another way to isolate the solenoid thanks a lot for any help that i can get

If you can relay isolate the hi from the low to trigger the hi-low beams.
