Where can I get educated about LPF and HPF? I have the Alpine 7893, and I pretty much just play around with them till I get what I want in sound. But I would like to understand it better. i want to know how I can tune my system to how it's supposed to sound and how both the different kind of frequencies work together to get the best sound. Now this also applies to my crossover on my amp

LPF is your Low Pass Filter (Xover) And HPF is you High Pass Filter. You can learn more here at Basic car audio electronics

I have a 7892, which functions the same Xover wise. There are all kinds of schools of thought here, but generally, I like the sub at 80 Hz low pass, and the mids/highs at 120 Hz high pass.

This will take some tinkering with, as sub size vs. mid high speaker size will all play factors as to the overall sound. The Alpine manual does not explain this well, but try the above settings, and make one adjustment at a time.

Also, do not forget the bandwidth mode, and Q setting; these will also change sound and give you that little extra oommpphhh!!!
