I own a 2002 Explorer XLS and under the hood I had to install a new battery, but the battery cable with the ring on it won't reach the new terminals. So somehow I need to extend the cable to my terminals, but how?
Thanks,
Deutscheland

Not sure what size wire you have but I know stinger makes a coupler that looks like this for joing two wires together  without looking like you ghetto rigged it.

The 1 I have pictured is a 1/0 gauge but I know they have 4 gauge ones and probably other sizes.

hope this helps and is what you were looking for.

I just got some 8-4 gauge butt connectors...or you can solder the wires together if you want then shrink wrap it
