I just installed myself a viper 5900, I wired all the necessary wires including all remote start, and installed a "door solenoid" so it has power locks on my 300zx 1986.
Everything works completely fine!
Car starts up, turbo timer works, doors lock and unlock, shock sensors work, door triggers and hood triggers work.
Anyway
RANDOMLY when I armed it yesterday neither the transmitter or the car AUDIBLY alerted me. The system did arm via the transmitter icon, but the doors did not lock and I heard no chirps of any sort.
I just installed it 2 days ago, and the car has not been driven at all.
The blue status LED is ALWAYS on constant blue!
No blinks.
I disconnected and re-connected the battery and as soon as the battery is re-connected, the blue status LED turns on and stays on a constant blue with no blinks and the samething occurs.
Any pointers?
I went through the manual, but couldnt find anything in any of the sections relating to my problem
Thanks!

Sounds like it's in valet

Either press lock unlock lock to take it out of valet or key on key off within 10 seconds push the valet switch.

That should take it out of valet
