Doing a remote start on a 2007 Saturn Aura XE.  Need to find the start wire on the vehicle. My notes say that the PURPLE / white wire is not for a remote start.  That is from directed's site.My question, What wire do i use in the application. Please help.  Thanks

Newer GM vehicles don't use a typical starter connection. This should help answer your question. You can use a interface, or the 1609 diagram i uploaded. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~102550~PN~2~TPN~1

the information i have says that with correct bypass of the passkey system, the vehicle will crank automatically, no starter wire needed.
