I have a 04 Expedition with a DEI alarm and remote start, Everything was working great til today I start it and it shuts itself off after like a minute or 2 tops.

Any ideas?

Do you know the exact make and model of the system installed in your vehicle? It is possible that your tachometer reference needs to be reprogrammed...or if it was installed using voltage sensing, your alternator may be going bad. Reprogramming the tachometer would be the first thing I would try, most DEI systems program the same way. Open the door, start the vehicle with a key, hold the programming button in until the LED illuminates.

Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
