I read some other posts about subs popping, but I wanted to hear a first hand experienced person(s)'s opinion on my situation.
I have an Eclipse CD3100 HU, Diamond Audio Hex (silk tweeter) components in the doors, with an Eclipse amp pushing those. I also have a Kicker 1500 watt amp pushing my two Eclipse 12" SW8200 subs in a 2 chamber 1.5 cubes per chamber per sub.
My problem is one of the subs is popping. I tried unplugging the working sub and putting in the popping sub in its place, but it still pops. I've come to the conclusion that it is a manufacturers defect, but I didn't expect that from Eclipse (heard lots of good things about them). If it is a defect I doubt I'll be purchasing from them in the future.
Back to the subject, have you guys experienced this? Any help or suggestions will help. I want to try everything before I decide to return it.

Well, I wouldn't expect ONE defect to cause somebody to swear off a manufacturer's product forever... Look at Ford, Chrysler, and Chevrolet... Defects all OVER the place, yet they still sell craploads!
Otherwise, it IS a mechanical device, it is subject to the same tolerances as every OTHER mechanical device. I have seen woofers (and spec'd woofers, as well) fall well outside of a claimed tolerance, as much as 15%, in some cases. That is certainly enough to radically mis-tune an enclosure. I wouldn't EXPECT it from Eclipse either, but it CAN happen. Hell, even Honda and Toyota get the occasional lemon.
Your Eclipse dealer will warranty it for you, if it is stil within the time frame. Take it back to them...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I have seen a Eclipse sub that has popped like you are describing. It was made by TC Sounds for Eclipse. So by your judgement above, you should no longer look at TC Sounds or any of the companies that they manufacture for. You got a bad apple, get it warrantied, move on and enjoy what those subs are truly capable of. I am sure that I have smelled sour milk before, yet I still like milk on my cereal every day........

Well i didn't mean for y'all to get caught on the fact that I wouldn't purchase from them again.  I know people make mistakes and stuff.

So Ya'll are pretty sure its a defect and there's nothing I can try to test or fix?  Just want to make sure before I send it back.

Nothing you can do can fix it. Send it back for service.

Nobody has a way with words such as forbidden does.  :)

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
