Hello,
Im looking to throw a small system in my '96 Jimmy. What I'm thinking is a RE SE10 Sub, and an alpine MRP-M500 mono amp. The amp outputs 500x1 at 2 ohms, so i was gonna run the subs coils in parallel so it would be at 2 ohms on the amp. Was probably going to go with a 1.25 cubic ft box ported to 38Hz. Would this be a pretty powerful setup that would sound clean and not break the bank? I've heard the SE sub line before and was amazed at the construction and sound out of it...thanks for any help.

also, does that alpine amp have remote gain control? (like a knob that you can adjust the bass level from the front seat)
