I just made some kick panels for some MB Quart 5 1/4" Q Series components. Now I am wondering, did I make the optimal enclosure for these? Is volume important? Should it be vented or sealed? I've heard of using fleece inside the pod to do something to the bass response. Any input? Thanks.

you dont want to vent kicks seled will give you more/better sound if your pods turned out smaller than you had hoped then stuffing them with pillow stuffing/fleece will fool the speaker into thinking that the enclosure is larger than it actually is.  ps. dont cram the material in there it must be a loose fit if you compress the material in anyway you defet the purpose.

life is a comedy to think, a tragedy to feel
