I now plan to run 2 lanzar 2000 watt 1 channel amps, I already have 1 lanzar pushing my 2 ohm rockford power hx2 subs and a 1000 watt sony xplod running all of my highs. When the bass hits, my head and dash lights look like a disco party. I upgraded my alternator to a 90 amp and also have a spare red top optima in my trunk, I bought 2 scosche caps with the digital voltage readout and all they did was show the drop in voltage when the bass hit. Do I need a nuclear power plant in my trunk to prevent head and dash light dimming?

Um.  Okay outline all the power wiring in your car.

Have you done the 'big 3' ?

What is that Red Top doing?  How is it wired to the rest of the car?  What kind of battery is under the hood?

What make/model of car is it?
