Hi I need the driver's side window control wiring diagram for an 02 Ford Explorer XLS.  The only window that will work is the drivers side and all the others are non responsive but do get power. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

Have you checked the switches?  They are known to fail.

yea that's the weird thing, The main driver's window switch lights up to a test light just fine when you hold the switch.  The other 3 switches will light up to the test light (meaning they are getting power) but they're dimmer on the the test light than the main window switch, and when you hold the other window switches w/ the test light on them they become as bright as the main window switch.  My best guess is that it's the main driver's side window control panel but i'm not 100% and this is a job for work so I can't jus tell them to go buy a new one without being sure.(it's not like all 3 of the window motors would go out at the same right?, I just don't wanna waste the time in taking apart one or two door panels to check the motors cuz it seems to me as a linear power problem.

thanx for your reply

Richard

I know this sounds stupid, but did you check the child safety switch?

Of course we checked the child safety switch, along w/ the driver's side control panel, and the fuses. We just talked to a mechanic @ a ford dealership and he said it sounded like a relay problem, but i guess there could be multiple relays for each window. I'll keep checkin back to see if there's any new info or if we've made a break-through in yet again, another grueling task to do.
