Hello,
I have recently purchased an IPS 720i head unit, and i love it, but have one problem. Every time i remove the key from my ignition, the next time i turn on the head unit (/ignition) the settings are reset to default. i.e. the radio loses its presents and the volume/bass/treble/fader/balance are reset.
Do you know how i can set the head unit to remember the settings instead of having to input them again every time?
Thanks very much
Rollo

There is no setting to do this.  But if you connect the yellow wire of the deck to a 12Volt source that remains hot when you turn the key off, your problem will be solved.

Is the yellow wire the constant 12volt wire in the U.K.???

^^^^ agreed. Take a test meter and find a constant (yellow wire on HU) and switched power (red wire on HU) lead and you should be okay. A lot of times you can find it at your fuse box.

If you are installing the deck into a car or truck, there should be a constant wire at the radio location.
