You can use a Y adapter. Most of the lower end headunits only have a single sub out.

What kind of HU is it? My Jensen DVD player has the same thing, I got a Y adapter so both of my subs will play instead of just one. It's the Jensen VM9312 w/ 7" flip out monitor

Yea using a Y adapter wont cause you to lose signal or in this case bass. Alot of the dvd/cd players only have a single sub out due to the fact that there are also other rca's coming out the back for tv screens, speakers, and so on.
