Remove radio. (Don't unplug it, just lay it to the side, in case it has GM's Theftlock feature activated. If that feature is turned on, and you unplug the radio, you'll need the code to turn it on.) To the left of the radio, you can get behind the ignition switch. There's a bundle of thick, heavy wires, and another taped up harness with three thin wires: yellow, white, and black. Start the car, and with the engine running, cut the yellow wire. Tape up the ends neatly. The "SECURITY" lamp on the dash will come on and stay on. The car's PASSLock system is now disabled, and the car will start every time, even if the special switch inside the ignition switch is bad. However, that light will remain on whenever the car is on, and the car will also be easy to steal. The right way to do this would be to buy a replacement ignition switch. If you're good with electrical stuff, you can also measure the resistance of the factory circuit, and wire in a resistor. This will turn the light on the dash off, but the car will still have no theft protection.
