So which one is it?  Xpresskits dot com states the XK03 as "best" which doesnt do transponder.  Then there is the XK531 which is only for 97-04 correct?  Crimestopper list a CH-U1 for this vehicle however my distributor only has a CH-U2.  Please confirm that the XK531 will work for this vehicle.

On the 2005 if the key is black it will be the ones that has the OEM keyless entry on it as well. The XK531 will work to bypass the Sentry system because it requires 2 keys for programming.

All-black key === no transponder bypass (CH-U1) needed.
I haven't played with an XK03, but I'd imagine it must do the doorlocks, trunk, and factory arm/disarm for you?
Well, if it has no Sentry Key, I'm almost positive it won't have a factory alarm either.
The locks and trunk are fairly easy on that car. I would rather do it without the module and make more money.

if the customer has/could get a valet key then use the 556u. the XK03 is a good idea but you have to make sure the firmware is up to date. you could call expresskit and find out if there are any updates available for the XK03.

1. Since he does have the Sentry Key, hopefully he still has both keys to the car. You need two working keys to program the bypass.
2. I've never used an XK531 before, but it appears to be the type of module that can be reprogrammed to work different cars.
You need to either order it with the correct firmware already in it, or have the XKLoader cable on hand.
