2005 Dodge Dakota, I installed a Viper 571 remote start in this truck, and now when the brake wire is hooked up the ABS light goes on. I used the WHITE/ light blue wire, and tested it to make sure it was correct. The brake wire is always showing a ground, and I'm not sure if this is correct or not.

brake wire should be WHITE/ tan at the brake switch in an 05 dakota.

When you are not sure..... MAKE SURE before making any connection. Next time you might trigger more than an idiot light.
