I have a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB HUand a Kenwood KGC-4042A EQ. Which of the outputs on the back of the HU do i use to go into the input on the EQ? There are three outputs (front, rear, sub). There is only one input on the EQ.  Thanks in advance.

No, i'm not running a separate bass amp. The three outs from the eq are going into a Pyle PLAD-618 amp. 6 channel, 2000 watt. The fronts, rears, and sub/subs (undecided) will run off this amp. Thanks for the reply.

I would suggest selling the eq...one is not needed.
Sell the eq and buy a quality amp. The amp you have now "MAY" put put 400 real watts...that is a big maybe.
If you do use the amp and that eq I bet you fry the speakers from clipping the hell out of the amp.
You have a pretty decent HU to start with though...that is a good base

You need to use the Front or the Rear outputs out of the radio.  If your deck has a high pass filter built in to it, you will need to turn it off.  It will be labeled HPF in the audio menu.  I am sure you won't blow your speakers with that amp.  Even I can tell when it needs to be turned down a little, and I am an Idiot.  Not everyone here has the unlimited funds that some of us seem to have.  You have the amp, use it till YOU get tired of it.  WE don't have to listen to it, YOU do.  As long as it is doing what YOU want it to, use it.
