I have an 02 civic LX and I have SERIOUSLY annoying engine noise.
I have an Alpine Headunit, Infinity 4 chan amp, Infinity speakers, and 2 Kicker comp CVR subs.
I just replaced the speaker wiring hoping it was because i used cheap wire but no, its still super loud and annoying.
If i'm listing to the music with the car off it sounds fine. When i start the car and turn the music on but keep the headunit on i hear like a loud da da da da da da then when i drive it gets louder or whatnot.
It's really annoying. I never had this problem. Why is it doing this?
let me know!

Are your RCA cables next to your power wire? They should be on different sides of the car...

Soldier: This is the worst part. The calm before the battle.
Fry: And then the battle is not so bad?
Soldier: Oh, right. I forgot about the battle.

That's a fallicy. I've run all my wires together for YEARS, and I have never had it PROVEN to me that that combination can cause noise. 99+% of the time it can be narrowed to a bad battery or bad ground.
Check this thread out...
The spiz has spoken! LOL (Actually I only added that sentence so I can easily find this thread to more easily find the LINKED thread - as that one never seems to come up in any searches.)
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Well, it might be different for each application. I had my RCAs slide next to my power wire, and I got a fuzzy sound from them, but the sound did not increase with the volume. Instead, it drowned out the noise, but it was annoying at low levels. When I moved the RCAs back where they go (and ziptied them), the noise was gone. Just what happened to me.

I too have never seen a problem running RCA and power on the same side of the car.  I zip-tie them together.  I think the same person that said this causes a problem also said that a capacitor would stop your headlights from dimming.
