What's wrong with 1kW at 4 or 2 ohms? Why the desire to push an amp as HARD as it can be pushed, at the expense of fidelity, efficiency, and life expectancy?
In nearly ALL instances, if you can wire at 1 ohm, you can ALSO wire easily at 2 ohms or 4 ohms.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Yea my understanding of those brands is that the Sundown would be, by several orders of magnitude, the best 1000 watts there.

Even if I *am* the only one in the world, (and I'm not...) what about the other two? Efficiency and life expectancy... Huh? best 1000watt 1ohm stable amp -- posted image.

I would definitely choose the Sundown Audio amp for sure!

With a great amp, life expectancy shouldn't be a problem. Efficiency? lol....not happening at 1 ohm.

I would never bother running at less than 2 ohms for a DAILY drive vehicle anyway. I actually prefer 4 or more ohms. Guess I can hear the difference too.... best 1000watt 1ohm stable amp -- posted image.
