Hey guys

Im still kinda new at this, i've done a few installs, but I'm trying to install a HU in a 07 corolla s, and I was just wondering if anyone can give me directions on how to take apart the dash. Any help would be appreciated.

If the car requires a dash kit to install a radio, there are instructions with the kit. If it does not require a kit, I am sure that someone here will be familiar with the vehicle and chime in.

its a double din unit so I'm pretty sure I don't need a kit.

You still need the instructions to remove the dash?

I have an 06 corolla, and you have to pull off the center a/c control knob, it just pulls straight out, and then unscrew the screw behind that. then, you'll have to remove the trim panel around the shifter knob, which just pulls right up. there will be two screws behind this that youll have to remove, and then you can pull the face of the a/c controls off, it requires a little bit of force to get it off, then youll have to unhook the connections behind it. next, youll need a 10mm socket with an extension to remove four screws that hold in a bracket around the radio. after you remove these screws, you can pull the whole radio/trim panel out, unhook the factory harness, and voila! you're done. If you need any clarification or possibly some pics, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

thanks 4 the help guys.......seems pretty easy.....finding the screws can be a struggle thats why I wanted to ask b4 i put my hands on anything

I do not know what screws you think you will have trouble finding, but maybe the link above will help you.

the dash kit is: Metra Electronics - 95-8204
