hey guys, just to let you know, on the new 5 series screens, you have to order a cable to plug the sirius scc1 directly into the screen.  kenwood doesn't have the old din port they've had forever.  and, you don't have to the sr50 box.  AND, haha, i'm really not liking the tech support they have right now.  bottom line, with kenwood's 'new' stuff, i would definitely recommend 'bench' testing all components to make sure everything is compatible.  i'm posting my findings as i discover them.  GOOD LUCK!!
