subwoofers make rumbling distorted sound

i just bought a new 1800 watt kenwood amp with 2 12" kickers and the settings on the amp arent even turned up all the way but when the subs get too loud u start hearing this distorted rumbling noise coming from the subs. when i turn the volume all the way down to 0 u can still hear the subs rumbling pretty loud. can anyone help me figure out whats going on? is it the subs i bought? the amp?

You have a pioneer radio, and when installing the amplifier, you connected power and RCA before you connected the ground to the amp. Once the power wire was connected, the amp started looking for ground. As soon as you connected the RCA cables, the amp found the ground that it was looking for. At the expense of the tiny surface mount fuse mounted probably to the underside of the main circuit board of your radio. You have several choices now, 1 is to get the radio repaired. The other is to follow the instructions on the following link.
