remote starter causing idle problem?

Looking for advice on a  Rattler remote starter already installed on a used 2003 Windstar I bought.  I believe its model 359D.    The trouble I am having is with high/abnormal idling upon cold engine, until it fully reaches operating temperature.  My question is whether if it wasn't installed properly, could the remote starter cause this high idling problem I'm having....     Im not getting any engine error codes, Ive cleaned/checked/replaced the IAC and PCV valves, TPS and MAF sensors, checked for vacuum leaks, etc, etc....     But I'm thinking that maybe the idle air control valve is getting bad current from this remote starter.      Someone please help.  THANK YOU.

Gino, I fowarded the email you sent me to a mechanic friend of mine (retired Ford guy) I wait for his reply. MY opinion is that of ers1121's.

I'll get back to you this evening.  As far as the link to the other post.... Nissans have that issue if you don't gett ALL of the ignition harness wired correctly.

I may not know everything, but my work fleet consists over 100 Fords. Try removing the air intake hose near the throttle body. Look at the plates and the throttle bore, if all carboned or gunked up clean with Throttle Plate Cleaner. DO NOT USE CARB CLEANER!  It will remove the factory coating.
