i need a trigger for negative trigger for my add on remote start on my 2500hd, can anybody help? i was going to use the lock trigger but since it is class 2 i cant tie in at the bcm. could i use the lock wire from my 1700g bypass module? or do i need to open up the door and tie in inside

So you have a stand alone remote start and want to activate it with you door lock switch. If the bcm has a door lock motor wire coming out of that shows positive voltage, you can convert that with a relay to a negitive so that you can talk to the remote start system. Let me know more info if that didn't help.

on the 06 models there is a lock module in the door that gets a class 2 signal from the bcm and the sends out the pulses to the door lock actuator

If you can get to the wires going to the actuators, One wire will change when trying to lock.  Just find this wire and tag it.  If it goes positive to lock you will need to use a relay to convert it to a negative.
