before anyone flames me, i did run a search and found nothing useful

i recently purchased a 1991 toyota mr2 turbo and this alarm system was included. im trying to figure out why it wont work. if there are any wiring diagrams or install faqs i can look at that would be awesome. if any compustar gurus out there live near newport news, va, i'd love to have this professionally looked at

Goto the CompuStar website and look at the user and wiring manuals they have listed under 'Dealer Support' and 'Customer Support'. Find the main module in your car to see what unit it is...

well first thing first why dont you call compustar. 888.820.3690

But when purchasing the car and not knowing what does what. Try to reprogram the remote. Turn the key in the ignition back and fourth from the On to the ACC 5 times fast. You'll hear a parking relay trigger. AFter you hear the first click, insert the battery into the remote. IT will learn by itself.

"dont ground out!"
