Hello everyone, just as the topic states, i am in a quarrel with two brands of deep cycle battery... I drive a 95 civic;
The two brands are
Optima 5100 yellow cap
&
Kinetik, model still pending( or if anyone knows of any good models)
Does anyone have any one of these, and if so how does it perform? Or any thoughts? Keep in mind this will be powering a full stereo system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks

I'm a huge fan of Optima Yellow's.

You might find the Kinetik has more *bling* factor tho . . .

"full stereo system" can mean anything.  What exactly are you running?

I'm a huge fan of Optima for the simple fact that they have been around for a long time and I haven't heard much negative things about Optima over the years.
Matter of fact today I bought a Blue Top and a few weeks ago I bought a Red Top. I can't get Yellow Top Optimas locally without getting robbed blind, so I inquired with their tech support about the differences.
According to the Optima person I was communicating with, the only difference between the Blue Top and Yellow Top is the configuration of the battery posts themselves and the warranty.
Actually since the y have some "extra" posts up top, that works even better for me.
