2008 ford taurus, vss

any idea about the vss on an 08 taurus?

Unfortunately, the 2008 Ford Taurus does not have a VSS, just like the previous Ford Five-Hundred and the Freestyle.
It relies on Canbus display the current speed. I have looked at all the Ford shop manual and there is no mention at all of a VSS. It won't even show the OSS(output shaft sensor) wire.
I had to install a Canbus VSS interface to create an analog VSS signal.
