Im going to install dei 571xv remote start in a 4dr 98 grand am, wanting to know best bypass module and best place to get door triggers,will be asking more questions later

For the bypass a PLJX or 555L will work.
I remember doing a Grand Am like that where the door triggers were in a harness going up the steering column - driver's door is I think lt. GREEN/ black, and there was one wire for the other doors but I can't remember color offhand. As always, meter them before connecting to anything.

Why would you be hooking up the door triggers on a remote start?

You wouldn't have to unless the car had a manual trans. or you wanted to do ignition controlled locking, bypassed with the door open(not all r/s are capable of that anyway).
