Installed a dei 561r with the 1101t bypass which is the proximity key bypass, vehicle will not remote start, but it will turn everything on like it normally does, but when it tries to start it shuts down, meaning that when the unit gets to the starting sequence it does not even try to turn the starter it just shuts down, but I tried putting the ignition switch in acc. position and remote starting and it works like a champ, but in the ignition harness there is no other wires than the ones i have tied into. I thought it might be that another acc. wire need to be energized but no other wires in harness. To me it seems like there is another wire somewhere around the key cylinder that needs to powered up or have power taken away. I also tried the key sense wire but no luck. Plz help I'm driving myself mad trying to figure this out.

If it is anything like that outlander I fought with.....
The keysense is actually multiplexed. There are 2 wires that need to be tied together, off hand, I do not know the colors. It needs to see keysense first, then acc, ign. Try just pushing the key thing in, then hit remote start......... (assuming that it has something keyish that you turn in the column)
Wherever I go, that is where I end up......
