Hi to all, i'm looking for a diagram that shows how to wire relays so that when you turn off your vehicle, the radio stays on until you open the door. I did this years ago, but have forgotten exactly how to wire the relays up. Any help especially a diagram would be appreciated!

Edited: Just a note, to prevent other circuits that share the radio's accessory lead from seeing 12V+ when the key is off, cut the accessory lead and add two 1 amp diodes as shown below.

You're welcome, however, my second diagram has a problem. If the key is on, the radio will turn off when you open the door. I'm about to head out , but as soon as I get the chance, I'll post an updated version here.

Here's the fix to isolate the radio frrom anything else on the same circuit without it turning off when you open a door with the key in the accessory position.
