I've been trying to get some reference pics of an enclosure that will sit under the convertible(89 RX-7)rear deck. It's a Boston Pro 8". I'd like for it to sit between the seats and fire directly into the cookpit of the car. My biggest concern is the factory windbreaker. That might have to be removed or modified to accomodate the enclosure. Has anyone tried this and can post some pics?
I once used a JL 10 and formed an enclosure in the well behind the driver seat. However I didn't like all the rattle the sub created. I tried a Boston Pro 12 in the trunk, but didn't like how much of the trunk the box took up...and I hated the muffled bass. I'm more a fan of crisp and accurate bass than peeling back the asphalt with SPLs.
