Is the wiring diagram that is listed for the 2005 model year essentially the same for the 2006/2007 model years?  I've not had much exp with GM products and any assistance I would be greatful.   I am installing an alarm.  Galaxie500

You may have to use a meter to verify a few of the wires that are listed for the other year vehicles.

2005-2006 are the same, ignition harness changes a little in 2007-2008. In the newer ones you have a few different wires to grab for remote start. What year is the one your are working on? I can send ya a tech sheet from directechs since I dont know how to post it in the forums and not have it look like crap. Be sure to test every wire with a DMM before using it though, like idiot said.

Thanks for your assistance.  I used the 2005-2006 wiring diagram and every thing went smooth and with out a hitch.  My worry was with the door lock system, but that too was not problematic.
