Hi everyone,
I am thinking about installing a remote starter on my 2003 Chevy silverado. I am going for the Autopage RS-900, I have been reading here and there about the difference databus modules I can get to get the remote starter working on my truck. The problem is that I am not sure about which one to get.
I found the GM-SL (https://ifar.ca/en/products/all_products/gm-sl/?year=2003&make=1&model=659) and the XK01 (http://www.bypasskit.com/product.aspx?prodid=XK01#).
The only difference I can say about these two, is that the XK01 does the windows roll up, which I think it would be better if it could do both roll up & down. If I'm already spending money on one of this module, I want to get the most out of it.
Could you help me about which one I should go with? or if you know of some other module that you recommend I will appreciate it.
Thank you, Regards.
Guss

For ease of installation I prefer the iDatalink modules, but if your wanting to have more options ( window roll up ) then the XK would be the choice.

XK01 in that truck for sure, I have done 300 plus of that chassis and no issues with the XK01, I data link is as good but expensive and GM-SL we had some program issues.

Thank you every one for your help, I think I will choose the XK01.

Do you know if there is something similar to these that can roll up & down windows?
