I need to juice up two ma hk4000d and two 18" solo-x. The original plan was to run all kinetik (1800 under the hood and 4 hc2400 in the trunk), but if I can get the power I need for $1200 less, why not? So I pretty much want an opinion on this. I figure I can run one of these scell1000 to each amp. Between that, a h.o. alternator, and the hc1800 I should be good, right? Opinions ?...

Kinetik has a power calculator on their site.
Plug in Real World number for those amps, 1500W each, and
see what it tells you.
Cap Hybrid, Battery Hybrid blah blah blah. You were on the right track
with the Kinetik.

I'm on the kinetik site every once in a while and have used thier calculator. The hk4000d is rated at like 3600-4000rms @16v.

I have found MA's number to be very inflated. The same as Audiobahn, meaningless.
If you can get 3600W out of that amp it would amaze me, even if you were running a 16V system. The board in that amp is the same as the Visonik V4000Xd and the Clif CDX-20A. The power ratings vary between 1800W @ 4ohms to 2500W @ 4ohms both at 14.4V.   MA doesn't provide enough info about any of the amp's specs to have credibility. Selling at around $800 to $1200. Highly suspicious.
If MA's power specs are correct (cough) 3500W @ 2 ohms. If you plug in the numbers: 3500W @ 70% efficent @ 14.4V = 347 Amps. And you want to run two of them: 694 Amps.
If the true rating is 2200W @ 70% efficient @14.v the amperage is 238. For two = 476 Amps.
If you want to believe MA's BS numbers you will need enough juice to supply 694 amps! Hope you have room for a couple of alternators!
IMO a Zapco C2K-4KW would leave the MA stuff crying like a little bitch and sound better.
