Car remote starts however shutdown between 5 and 7 seconds then starts again then shutdown. pretty sure its a tach issue. can someone give me some guidance? (I used a WHITE/ green wire at the ECM)

Could be tach or immobilizer. Try putting the key in the ignition and turning to on then starting the remote start. If it runs, immobilizer. If it doesnt, check all wiring. I ended up having to re-solder the tach connection due to a bad initial solder.

The ECM is located in the front of the center console on the transmission hump. The wiring is easily reached by removing the small black panel just to the front of the center console on the passenger side. the wire is in the middle row, 7th one in from the left.
am preaty sure you have the right wire have you program the tac to the RS?
