Hi everyone,
I have a viper 791xv alarm and remote starter system. I have a 05 altima se r. My remote starter is acting up. It starts and then shuts off. I tried changing the starter settings from tach to voltage. When its on voltage setting its shuts off within like 30 to 45 seconds. If its on tach its shuts off immeditately after it starts. Does anyone know what is causing this and how do i fix it. Oh and this did not begin to happen until one day my battery died cause i left my lights on. ever since then its been doing this. Any help would be appreciated

Try changing it back to tach sensing and reprogramming the tach.

I would suggest taking it back to the dealer that installed it and have them take a look.

your tach signal needs to be reprogrammed. use your tach signal, not the voltage sense. if you can take it back to your dealer who installed it, take it to them to have it reprogrammed. if you don't have anyone to take it to, i can provide you with the reprogramming instuctions.
