remote starter sets off alarm

1999 audi a4 everthing seems to work ok except that when i try to start the car with remote , once the alarm is set ,the alarm goes off and the car will not try to start.the lock and unlock work and remote starter works as long as alarm has not set itself. auti a4 has vacuum locks,i think if i increase lock unlock to 4 sec. that might solve the problem? the remote is a directstart cs-423. the vacuum locks seem to be the problem.any thoughts??????

You need to hook up the disarm wire. Since the alarm disarms with unlock and unlock requires a double pulse, a single pulse will disarm. Just connect the Blue/White wire from the CS-423 to the unlock wire.
You may have vaccum door locks but the triggers are simply negative, so increasing the pulse to 3.5 seconds wont help.
