If at some point i wanted to run a second amp from my hu for some 6x9s, how do i do that with only one preamp output? thanks

Several options.

If you don't care about fader then install RCA "Y" 's.

If you do want to keep the fader capability, use a HI-LO adapter and use either the front or rear amplified output of your HU.

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.
