I have a pair of the Directed audio SX12D4's. The manuals spec sheet calls for a 1.25 cubic foot vented enclosure, tuned to 30 hz, 4 inch inside port diameter, and a 25 inch port length. I had my box made exactly to the spec sheet and the lows didn't seem to drop low enough. What other options do I have? The box looks tiny compared to the subs and the trunk space in my 06' charger. Anyone had any luck going outside the spec sheet? What would you guys suggest?

My friend has 2 Directed SX 12s and they slam.  He has it in a super bass pro box.  Not sure of the specs.

You could always plug your parameters into WinISD.  Can't go wrong there.

I tried that program and couldn't get it to function properly. Must of been something I did wrong. I read over the WinISD help thing on here also. I wish someone could offer some form of help
