Ok, so I've put this in and it no worky! argh! Also, this is my first cruise control. I've tracked my problem down to the VSS...if I ask the unit to run in manual mode off of the tach only it works fine, so my problem is definetly the VSS wire. I tagged into the Dark green w/ white trace at the ECU and no success. I then realised that the wire that direct techs and installology list doesn't correspond with the car.
They say dark green w white trace K connector pin 6....well, the dark green with white trace isn't on pin 6. Does anyone know where else I can grab this wire? I was thinking of going behind the dash but I'm not sure how to test for it without just randomly tagging into every dark green and white wire I find and hoping for the best...I just don't roll like that!

Can I test for the wire like this?
Set DMM to count DC Hz and then take the car for a drive and watch the hz go up in speed? It seems like a solid idea.

Ok, so I haven't tested wires to see if they are actually a VSS wire but all my online resources told me that I'm on the right one.
I checked the resistance between CC module and where I mad the join and I have .2ohms and .3 from the CC module to the actual connector on the ECM....anyones thoughts?
