hmm i ran into a problem..
after i connect the fuse to the + of the battery i then run the 14g wire to my relays where i branch off and make two connections for both relays.. These connections then go to terminal 30 ?
85 - grounded
86 - would be when the key is in the on position
87 - switch on
87a - switch off
is this right? or am i doing something wrong
Thanks guys

hahah you beat me to the chase man

i went and figured it out

just like you stated above

Battery: + of the battery went to the one end of the switch which is tied into 30.. the other end of the switch is connected to 86

- of battery wento to the negative of the seat which is also tied into 85

and the GREEN/ orange of the seat is connected to 87

now when you say that i should connect it to an accessory..  i would use my ignition for example

i would connect my ignition to 85?? is that right

thanks for your help man i appreciate it

85 is ground.    You should remove the constant wire from the switch.  Then connect an ignition wire in place of the wire you just removed from the switch.

WOW....

30 goes to your constant power...(battery).  the 14 ga wire from the battery!

85   goes to ground

86 to switch.            other side of switch goes to ignition power in ignition column

87 to the seat.   done!                 now to your passenger seat...

read the posts more carefully....it'll save you some time and headaches!

...half of the truth can be worse than a lie. <----Roger Russell said that..

A constant wire is a wire that always has 12 volts on it.   A switched or accessory wire is one that only has power when the key is in the Acc or On position.

So to answer your question, yes the constant wire was the wire you had conected to 86.
