I just want to know your opinions about the power consumptions of my system. I know a lot of people don’t like the “Living Loud” way of life but I do. Is my power set-up right because I’m tired of killing batteries and alternators, it is starting to take away from my female enjoyment fund?

• 1992 Buick Roadmaster Sedan Limited 350 ci 5.7L TBI with CS-130 alt.

• Second alternator 200 amp with a Kinetik HC2400 battery (0/1 gauge run to the trunk for this battery)

The entire system is run with out passive crossover and all crossover points are done through the amps gains are set using Sparky’s chart with the option to boost or cut with the EQ.

So you have 2 200 amp alternators? What amp are you running for the subs?

Is this what you HAVE, or is this what you WANT? Are you asking opinions? I guess I'm a little bit lost...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

How are the subs hooked up? Add up the fuses on your amps and tell me that number. If you just have those two amps 400 amps seems a bit much.

the fuses are as follow SX900.2 120 amp and i have two of these amps Sx700.4 80 amp and i have two of these amps and Sx400.2 50 amp so that is a total of 450 amps in fuses.

Just throwing this out there:
Depending on RPMs, those alternators won't put out full amperage at idle. Your 200A alt is 105A at best below XXX RPMs. Are you driving the vehicle enough to recharge the batteries?
How long are the alt's lasting before failure? What alt's are you using? How do you have the loads divided?
"Living Loud" or "Suffering with Silence"? I'm paying for my volume choices, enough my career is starting to be compromised. Damage was done before I realized it. . .
